Archives For August 2012

family picHello friends, my name is Trey Halberdier and this is my first blog – and BANDIER’s launch into social media. Quite exciting as this is a journey not a destination.

WHY – IS THE QUESTION WE SHOULD ALL BE ASKING OURSELVES.
As we watch the current political elections, America coming out of crisis, and a younger generation entering the workforce confused and wondering their purpose, it is critical to lead with love, always change and evolve into a purpose greater than ourselves.

WHY ME?
Blogging, tweeting, facebook, linkedin- it is mind numbing – but power of thought and writing is a window to our souls. And I have found writing helps me remember “why” and serve other people- outside of myself and a cause greater than myself. Commercial Real Estate can be quite “bottom line” oriented, so social media provides an outlet to more creativity and leadership – and dialogue with “people and work that matters”- especially to me.

WHY COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE?
After my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my Family, and Community, BANDIER Realty Partners and BANDIER Companies- www.bandierpartners.com – CRE is my 4th child. I am so blessed to be in such a dynamic challenging industry – in the best country, in the best city, in the best Community (The Woodlands) in the world. Commercial Real Estate (CRE) provides me the freedom to live a life that matters of significance, support a beautiful family, and serve my team members and community.

WHY THIS PURPOSE AND MISSION?
Part of the reason for this new era of social media for me and our firm- is the understanding and conviction that I am leading a cause and mission greater than myself. My purpose is to love my God with all my heart and all my soul and all my being- and to love thy neighbor as thyself. My mission in this blog and in my life is- TO CREATE JOY, HEALTH AND SIGNIFICANCE- INSPIRE AND LIVE INSPIRED! I plan to lead with love and follow our firms core principles. I also believe- “it’s better to be GREAT than lucky – it’s a choice”! thank you Jim Collins ;)

I look forward to living this journey with you and creating a dialogue that matters!
